Our client, a young and rapidly growing independent company expert within their field of engineering, are offering a new opportunity for a Part Time Admin / Accounts Assistant to join their team in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.

Our clients provide various engineering solutions ranging from small jobs to large industrial projects and cover multiple geographical areas across the UK.

Job Summary

Hours of Work

  • 15 hours per week – days and hours to suit (flexible)

Responsibilities

The following are a list of responsibilities for the Part Time Admin / Accounts Assistant jobs in Scunthorpe :

  • Working as part of a team
  • To assist in the accounts department of a growing company
  • Inputting onto sales and purchase ledgers
  • Carry out banking tasks (pay invoices, transfer monies, pay wages etc)
  • Working daily with QuickBooks accounting software
  • To assist with all other accounting aspects and admin duties (emailing, answering telephone, handle queries, filing, data entry etc)
  • Adhere to the companies Health & Safety Policy

Education

  • Good standard of education required, including Maths and English
  • Must be numerate and literate

Experience

  • Previous administration/accounts experience
  • Working knowledge and experience of QuickBooks

Desired Skills / Qualities

  • Must have excellent attention to detail & accuracy
  • Must be computer literate
  • Excellent communications skills either verbal or written with the ability to speak with people at all levels
  • Hardworking
  • Keen to develop and improve your skills
  • Able to work as a team member
  • Ability to organise workload independently and use own initiative
