Job Description
Our client is looking to recruit Class 2 Drivers in Slough, Buckinghamshire, and are keen to speak to individuals with the right skills as soon as possible.
We are currently looking for a temporary drivers initially for Skip and Bulker work for an immediate start.
Our client is a UK leading integrated waste management company providing collection, recycling, treatment, disposal and technologically driven energy generation services across four operating divisions. Industrial and commercial waste collection service provider, covering a vast range of UK business sectors, including manufacturing, retail and hospitality.
This national company are a forward-thinking organisation and are offering temporary to permanent position(s) to join an existing team of hardworking drivers to provide a first-class service within the logistics operations.
You will be enthusiastic, energetic, motivated and physically fit with excellent time keeping skills who enjoys working as part of a team and being outdoors driving.

Job Summary
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday Start time 6am – 40 hours per week, task and finish
- Overtime at Time and Half, after 40 hours worked
Responsibilities
The following are a list of responsibilities for the Class 2 Drivers jobs in Slough :
- Perform driver checks, ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and load is safe for the public highway
- Comply with all highways regulations e.g. speed limits and weight and height limits
- Driving of self-tipping class 2 refuse wagon(s)
- Being aware of other vehicles and people in the road, steer the vehicle safely
- Ensure compliance with Road Transport Directive especially in relation to hours worked
- Maintain accurate records relating to work undertaken, vehicle information and checks
- Reporting Vehicle movements (via tachograph).
Education
- A driver CPC and Digi Card
Experience
- Previous Class 2 Driving experience
- Previous experience within refuse collecting / driving advantageous - although not essential
