Job Description
Our client, a waste company experts in water and waste management, are looking to recruit Class 2 Roll On Roll Off Drivers in Scunthorpe, and are keen to speak to individuals with the right skills as soon as possible.
This company are a forward-thinking organisation and are offering temporary position(s) to join an existing team of hardworking waste management specialists to provide a first-class service

Job Summary
Hours of Work
- Monday to Thursday, 0730 to 1600 / Friday 0730 to 1530 (37 hours per week)
Responsibilities
The following are a list of responsibilities for the Class 2 Roll On Roll Off Drivers jobs in Scunthorpe :
- Driving a hooklift (roll on roll off) collection and stillage vehicles
- Some driving of vans and small refuse collection vehicles upto 7.5t
- Operate the multi lift system on the roll on off vehicle to exchange the containers on the household recycling centres, waste transfer station
- Operate the bin lifting equipment safely and support with the safe manoeuvring of a variety of refuse containers, boxes and caddies as required
- Undertake all necessary checks of the hooklift, refuse collection, stillage or other vehicle
- Ensure work is carries out to the highest standards of health and safety
- Conducting the lifting via manual handling methods
- Working in all weathers
- Communication between colleagues
- A good understanding of manual handling is required
- You must be an effective communicator
- And most importantly you must be able to work as a team player
- You must be able to follow instructions and guidance
Education
- Hold a valid HGV2 licence
- Digi Card & CPC
- A good understanding of manual handling is required
Experience
- Previous roll on roll off experience
