We are seeking an ENERGY SPECIALIST to work for one of our largest reputable clients in SHEFFIELD, South Yorkshire.

Job Summary

Hours of Work

  • 9am - 5pm
  • 35 Hours a week


The following are a list of responsibilities for the Energy Specialist Job jobs in Sheffield :

  • Demonstrate and maintain behaviours and values upheld by the business
  • End to end processing of data and exceptions through to successful resolution maintaining high attention to detail
  • Manage key data flows
  • Logically understanding the reasons for failures and identifying solutions
  • Resolve normal and complex enquires. Utilise a variety of systems to provide information and help to deliver a first contact resolution to enquiries.
  • Call handling and communication with customers, other energy suppliers and 3rd parties
  • Achieving and exceeding defined personal and department targets
  • Maintain awareness of key performance indicators
  • Ongoing communication with all areas of the business to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Setting up new accounts, including adding Direct Debit details and monitoring the progress of the setup of services requested


  • Confident user of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiar with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Futura


  • Experience within a customer service or customer facing role
  • Experience working within the utilities or energy sector

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to establish and build rapport with customers
