Job Description

Our client, a large company, experts in the manufacturer of sustainable products, are looking to recruit Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) to join their team at their facility in Louth, Lincolnshire.

This company are a forward-thinking organisation with over 80 year’s experience in their sector, They are offering long term position(s) to join an existing manufacturing team, providing a first-class service within their manufacturing operations.

Job Summary

Hours of Work

  • Continental shifts – 0600 to 1400 / 1400 to 2200 / 2200 to 0600

Responsibilities

The following are a list of responsibilities for this role:

  • Working in a team
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety
  • Load / Unload palletised products
  • Required to operate a Counterbalance Forklift truck to load and unload materials and deliveries to and from storage areas
  • Checking loads are secure
  • Manual handling aspects
  • Carrying out quality/equipment checks
  • Following written instructions and keeping records
  • Always have a good understanding of Health & Safety

Education

  • Hold a valid Counterbalance forklift licence

Experience

  • A proven track record of Forklift experience (Counterbalance) having the ability to operate and control equipment
