Our exclusive client is URGENTLY seeking a number of experienced Forklift Driver to work in the GRIMSBY area, North East Lincolnshire. The company is a large reputable company, offering great career opportunities and benefits.
Hours of Work
Working 7 days over a 14 day period
Average pay will be 43 hours per week
Working 5/2 shift pattern
Week one - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - DAYS 5.45am to 6pm
Week two - Wednesday, Thursday - DAYS 5.45am to 6pm
Week three - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - NIGHTS 5.45pm to 6am
Week four - Wednesday, Thursday - NIGHTS 5.45pm to 6am
The following are a list of responsibilities for the Forklift Drivers jobs in Grimsby :
Locate and efficient use of materials within the production department.
Work within the guidelines of health & safety, i.e. solvents/lifting equipment/DSE/knife safety/compressed air and to be conversant with the method statements and risk assessments.
To clearly follow work instruction documentation
To demonstrate skills required to perform basic tasks
To demonstrate the ability to mount a sample job to the required standard – but not within specific time constraints
To complete all required production documentation accurately
To be involved in improving the department by actively reporting and suggesting changes to work practice to drive the department forward.
To deal with problems quickly and efficiently seeking advice where necessary.
Assist in the handovers at the start and end of shift
Ensure your working area is kept clean and tidy at all times
Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing information
To be flexible in undertaking duties and responsibilities, may be asked to perform other duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of the position and are commensurate with its level of responsibility
Must have a Counterbalance Licence
Food safety awareness
