Job Summary
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1700 – Starts April
Responsibilities
The following are a list of responsibilities for the Forklift Drivers - Reach & Counterbalance jobs in Scunthorpe :
- Working in a team
- Required to operate a Reach and Counterbalance Forklift truck to load and unload materials and deliveries to and from storage areas
- Picking and packing of materials/products
- Move racking, pallet-packed goods around the warehouse
- Checking loads are secure
- Manual handling aspects
- Carrying out quality / equipment checks
- Following written instructions and keeping records
- Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
Education
- Hold a valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licence
- Must be numerate and literate
- Good understanding health and safety
Experience
- Previous experience within warehousing / distribution and/or similar
- A proven track record of Forklift experience (Reach & Counterbalance) having the ability to operate and control equipment
