Job Description

Do you have an IT related degree with a passion for PHP and front-end web development? We are seeking a GRADUATE PHP DEVELOPER to work for one of our reputable clients in WAKEFIELD, West Yorkshire.

Our client, a reputable digital agency dealing in all aspects of digital technology from bespoke business systems right through to Web and App design and development, are offering this exciting opportunity to join their team, along with growth and development for your skills and career.

Responsibilities

  • Front-end web development
  • Help customers achieve an exciting and innovating internet presence
  • Building new customer relations
  • To work with PSD designs to create websites
  • Ability to write clean code that is clear and understandable by others
  • Maintaining new and existing systems

Education

  • IT Related Degree
  • Strong understanding of PHP syntax and semantics

Experience

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Exposure/Experience in PHP, MySQL, JQuery and ideally HTML5 & CSS3
  • Possession of a portfolio of projects would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of CMS systems advantageous
  • Experience with PSD and AI files

Desired Skills / Qualities

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
  • Great eye for design and keen attention to detail
  • Good product knowledge preferable however not essential
  • Strong HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge required
