Our client, an independent company experts in the services of IT Support, Consultancy and Projects throughout Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, are looking to recruit an additional IT Technician, for their operations based in Lincoln.

Employing a high number of employees across its Lincoln site, this company are a forward-thinking organisation and are offering a permanent position to join an existing team of hardworking IT support staff to provide a first-class service maintaining the 20 years of success.

You will be joining a proactive company that develop customer solutions; therefore, you will be enthusiastic, energetic, motivated and have a real interest in IT. Holding excellent time keeping & communication skills who enjoys working as part of a team.

Job Summary

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1730 with some weekend and after hours work as required


The following are a list of responsibilities for the IT Technician jobs in Lincoln :

  • Working within a team of IT Support Technicians
  • Fault Diagnosis and rectification, installation and configuring of IT solutions, specifically server, network, office 365 and all other aspects of Microsoft portfolio and/or products
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Setting up workstations
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes and maintenance schedule
  • Check computer hardware
  • Customer service managing client expectations
  • Offer support to customers and support clients own internal IT staff


  • Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent – not essential
  • Certification as IT Technician would be an advantage although not essential (eg, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • Thorough knowledge of computer software, hardware and a variety of internet applications, network and operating systems
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence


  • Previous experience within IT technical support and/or similar
  • Proven record of being a team player
