Job Description

Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and suppliers within the upholstery sector, currently looking to recruit a Production/Despatch Operatives to join their expanding team in Scunthorpe.

The main purpose of this position will be to work with warehouse colleagues to ensure efficient, safe and accurate handling of our clients' stock.

You must have the interest and ability to continually learn product knowledge and the skills included within the role.

Job Summary


The following are a list of responsibilities for the Production/Despatch Operatives jobs in Scunthorpe :

  • To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • To achieve the targets and job standards set out by Supervisor/Managers
  • To be communicative between Supervisor/Managers
  • To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
  • To perform any reasonable request from Supervisor/Managers
  • Assist with regular perpetual inventory checks
  • Provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to all internal customers
  • Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times
  • Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with


  • A good general education
  • Manual Handling training completed


  • Previous experience advantageous
