Our client, a manufacturing company producing products for the construction and engineering sectors, and with over 40 years’ experience in their field, are offering an exciting opportunity for Production Operatives to join their team in Scunthorpe.

This company are a forward-thinking organisation with big growth plans and are offering temp to perm and permanent position(s) to join an existing team of hardworking manufacturing operative(s) to provide a first-class service to its industry.

Job Summary

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Thursday, 0730 to 1630 - Friday 0730 to 1330


The following are a list of responsibilities for this role:

  • Working in a team
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety
  • Communication between colleagues
  • You need to be physically fit due to the demanding nature of the role
  • A good understanding of manual handling is required
  • Working with chemicals
  • Trimming and finishing of panels (panels that come out of the mould you will add paste, grind, trim for a smooth finish)
  • Mix resin and aggregate materials
  • Emptying of mixtures into buckets
  • Spin product mixtures
  • Manually carry the substances to the mould required and pour in the mix (carrying upto 15kg across site upto 10metre)
  • Laminate panels (training provided)
  • Using various hand tools and equipment – grinders / mixers / chemicals etc


  • Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes, previous manufacturing experience an advantage
  • Manual handling experience of heavy lifting
  • Some construction and/or engineering experience would be desirable
