An exciting opportunity to work for a reputable independent firm and Scunthorpe's leading independent recruitment agency.

We are excited to be looking for a talented RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR to join our team in SCUNTHORPE and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end.

You will be responsible for winning business, attracting candidates, evaluating CVs, scheduling and conducting interviews and managing the hiring paperwork.

This role will suit if you have a thorough knowledge of HR best practices and have innovative ideas. Have strong communication skills and are a confident headhunter.

We like working with people who think 'outside-the-box' and who finish projects in a timely manner.

  • Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1700 / On call rota

Responsibilities

The following are a list of responsibilities for the Recruitment Coordinator jobs in Scunthorpe :

  • Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
  • Write and post job descriptions on career platforms
  • Source candidates by using databases and social media
  • Use recruiting tools to assess candidates’ skills and their CVs
  • Conduct phone, Skype and/or in person interviews
  • Maintain a complete record from start to end process
  • Using sales, business development and networking to attract business from client companies
  • Build and develop positive relationships with both candidates and clients
  • Headhunting – identify and approach suitable candidates who may already be in work
  • Work towards and exceed targets that may relate to the number of candidate places, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generates

Education

  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices

Experience

  • Proven work experience as a recruitment coordinator or recruiter – 3+ years recruiting experience
  • Hand on experience with various selection processes such as phone interviews and reference checks
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Effective negotiating and sales skills
