Job Description

Our client, a well established recycling company, are offering an exciting opportunity for Recycling Operatives to join their in Scunthorpe. This is a family run business with many years of combined experience within the industry.

This company are a forward-thinking organisation and are offering ongoing position(s) to join an existing team of hardworking recycling operative(s) to provide a first-class service to its industry.

You will be enthusiastic, energetic, motivated and physically fit with excellent time keeping skills who enjoys working as part of a team and hard work. This role will suit you if you are keen to maintain high standards and have a hands-on, dedicated approach.

Job Summary

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday, 0700 to 1700 with 1 hour unpaid lunch

Responsibilities

The following are a list of responsibilities for this role:

  • Working as a team member in an exciting fast pace environment
  • Maintaining accurate records for the sorting of materials
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety
  • Communication between colleagues
  • You need to be physically fit due to the demanding role
  • A good understanding of manual handling is required
  • Picking scrap metals out of loads delivered
  • Inspect materials for any contamination

Experience

  • Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes
