Our client based in Brigg are looking for a SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT on a permanent contract.

  • To ensure that appropriate individual care is given to each resident in accordance to individual care plans
  • To care for residents who may be temporarily sick o needing special care procedures
  • To monitor residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements
  • Preparation of daily routines – i.e. dinner/tea requirements
  • To help serve food, assisting residents with eating and drinking as required
  • To prepare light meals and snacks if required, liaising with kitchen staff as necessary
  • To assist with the clearance of the dining room after meals
  • To assist with light domestic duties
  • To monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to the Care Coordinator
  • To assist the Care Coordinator in the administration, control and storage of drugs and medicines, monitoring and recording drug refrigerator temperatures.
  • Monitoring the performance of care assistants, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Read and write reports, and to participate in staff and residents’ meetings when required
  • To undertake other duties as required


  • NVQ Level 2


  • Previous experience within the care setting
