Job Description

Our client, a successful independent business expert in the retail industry providing fantastic clothing solutions, are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to work at their site based in the Scunthorpe area.

This company are a forward-thinking organisation and are offering ongoing, potentially leading to permanent position(s), to join a new team of hardworking warehouse personnel.

You will be joining a proactive company that develop tailor made clothing solutions, therefore, you will be enthusiastic, energetic, motivated, and physically fit with excellent time keeping & manual labouring skills who enjoys working as part of a team that wants to be work within a hands on role. This role is a physical role.

Objective of the role:

Reporting into the site Manager
The role is to help prepare with the business relocation, assisting with the sorting of stock and maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.

Job Summary

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700


The following are a list of responsibilities for this role:

  • Container handling
  • Manual handling of 15-25kg products
  • Moving products / pallets across the warehouse
  • Packing / wrapping stock
  • Moving stock from one store to another
  • Sorting rubbish (will require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching & lifting)
  • Hands on within the warehouse
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance


  • Understanding of health & safety within a warehousing environment


  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative and/or Labouring
  • Previous experience of manual labouring tasks
