Our client are looking to recruit WELDERS / FABRICATORS (MIG & TIG) to work at their purpose built in facility in SCUNTHORPE.

Experienced within their field and priding themselves on offering engineering services, our client's hard work and commitment to their customer base has seen them achieve the ISO 9001 accreditation within the engineering industry.

Job Summary

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Thursday, 32 hours per week


The following are a list of responsibilities for the Welders / Fabricators jobs in Scunthorpe :

  • Carry out welding/fabrication on all steel products (aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel components)
  • Mostly jig work with some one off build to drawings
  • Complete finesse grinding and welding, removal of splatter and burn marks from welding
  • Mainly bench work
  • Adhere to the companies Health & Safety Policy
  • Achieve the targets and job standards set out by supervisors/managers
  • The signing of documentation for completed jobs
  • Maintenance of housekeeping standards within your working area
  • To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • To be communicative between supervisors/managers
  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work


  • Welding certificate
  • Must be numerate and literate
  • Basic understanding of Weld Symbols
  • Knowledge of various metals and their properties


  • A proven record of TIG / MIG Welding work
  • Experience in welding techniques and processes
  • Used to working in a workshop environment
  • Previous welding/fabrication experience
  • Manual handling experience
